October 8, 20215 yr It's pretty obvious who #1 and #2 are right now. So who is the third best team right now?
October 8, 20215 yr Michigan. Haven't watched them a ton, but they've been dominating the little I have seen them
October 8, 20215 yr Oklahoma has had a few bumps but I think they will finish very strong, Oklahoma third best for me.

If Michigan wants to be in that conversation they need to go to Lincoln and win by 2 or 3 scores. For this week at least, the #3 will be the winner of Penn St and Iowa.

But in defense of @nikeman49 , Oklahoma has looked better offensively since Caleb Williams came in. Still doesn't fix their defensive issues though. That's the one common thing with all 5 teams in the top 5 right now... Very strong defensively.

I think this is a year where it really doesn't matter who the 3rd and 4th ranked teams are. UGA and Bama are on a collision course to meet twice to decide the national championship. UC playing UGA they way they did last year and returning so much from that team does have me optimistic though that they could at least make it a game with either, if given the opportunity. I'm obviously biased though.
October 9, 20215 yr Author OU's defense wasn't great today, but moving on from Rattler may be the move that gets them in the playoffs.
