Not surprised by the Corbin D being ready.  One of the best defensive minds in the business leading the Hounds.

Franklin County’s QB was hurting by the 4th quarter. He was limping and if affected his throwing motion on the late interception he threw.

That is what you call making a statement. We see you Corbin!

Good coaching staff and good players.  I'd hate to play them in the next few weeks. 

My nerves were at a all time high last night. I got to give a big shout out to Kaden Mooreman. Love this kid. I hope he chooses KY! I was watching Coach James talk to his team on the field after the game was over and teaching. He is a good one. I like what he is doing at Franklin County. I can see the talent in that Franklin team, they are for real. I knew after watching Corbin play Christ School, we were going to be a force to be reckoned with. Christ School was for real. Corbin has some talent of its own and I think now with a signature win, we can be in the real conversations about making a deeper run this year. We all know there is no guarantee of anything especially the way things in the world is right now. Corbin has put itself in a much better position after last nights big win. We got some boys playing at a very high level right now. I got to give a big shout out as well to our Seth Mills. He is just a baller. So much talent and very dangerous for teams to stop. He has become our most used weapon and he is so elusive and can play everywhere. Then Coach Greer, cant say enough about him. He had this defense ready last night. Congratulations Coach Greer and to your staff as well.

The early 4th down stop by Corbin along with the fumble by the Flyers at their own 22 yd line in the 1st Qtr seem to set the tone for the game.  Corbin played a great game too.  Congrats to Cheese and the Redhounds.  Flyers now know they need to get better.  Back to work. Go Flyers!

Early momentum swing for Corbin on a 4th down stop on the opening drive + Moorman fumble on the next possession put Franklin playing from behind very early. 

Corbin owned the line of scrimmage. Franklin did a nice job run blocking for Moorman. Corbin didn't blitz (not uncommon at all) and forced Mattison to win with his arm. He hurt his leg and had no ability to get the ball downfield. 

The common theme in every game is Corbin's depth and physical style of play. All three teams that have faced the Hounds looked miserable in the 4th quarter. Franklin made the right move subbing their starters out despite it being a 27-7 game with about 6-7 mins remaining in the game. Their stars were taking some big shots. 

 

 

Teams are about to TRY and take Kaden Moorman away and make Mattison beat them with his arm. If Franklin wants to make a run at Kroger Field Mattison is the key IMO.
