Danville and Lincoln both enter the matchup with 1-0 records. Danville held onto a 23-20 win over Garrard County and Lincoln turned some heads with their 50-20 drubbing of Somerset. 
Danville moves to #5 in the 2A rankings while Lincoln moves to #7 in 4A. 
If you didn’t know who Clayton Davis and Amon Lee were before last week I’m sure you do now as they helped Lincoln amass over 500 yards of rushing offense last week. Davis had 209 yards and 3 TDs while Lee added 191 yards and 2 scores of his own. It’s no secret as to what the Pats game plan will be this week. 
Mark Peach and his Admirals will look to keep the ball on the ground often as well. Danville only attempted 6 passes last week completing 2 of them. Sr RB Caleb Burns will carry the load as he had 77 yards on 12 carries. The second half has presented itself as an area of concern for Danville as they have started the first half hot in both their scrimmage and first game but have not been able to put anything together after halftime. 
Will we see more of Davis and Lee running wild or will Mark peach move his record at Danville to 2-0?

I think Lincoln probably wins this game pretty easily. It seems they have their best team in a while.

Lincoln County hasn't beaten Danville on the field in over 30 years. Officially, the Admirals lead the all-time series 22-2, but one of those "wins" was via forfeit in 2004 when Danville actually won the game by seven touchdowns.

The Patriots are over due.

Somerset couldn't stop Clayton Davis, or the Lincoln County running game in general, last week. I think they win by a similar margin and in a similar fashion over the Ads.

Lack of depth hurting the Ads? I know there were reports in the preseason of low numbers.

According to the KHSAA roster it’s about 38 kids. Quality depth seems to be the issue. 

Getting Corden Crawford back will definitely help the Ads. He's a game changer. They need all the help they can get especially in the secondary. 

Young Ads got that first W and held on to get past Garrard. This game may be closer than some expect. LC is by far better ball club than previous years. Getting Crawford back will help some. Thinking LC 35 Ads 21

I was there for the 20-0 LC win in 1988. This is first time in the 25 game series, including the 1988 game, that Lincoln is being picked by so many knowledgeable fans as the favorite.
