This one surprises me.

Pulaski came out firing on all cylinders after going down 7 to 0 early. QB Polston was pin point accurate early on and Pulaski was able to have as much success on the ground as in the air.

Dixon was tough early scoring both of Belfry's Touchdowns but cramps took him out a couple of times tonight. Belfry by my count, put the ball on the ground 7 times with Pulaski recovering at least 4 of them.

As we all know, the TO's will kill you all the time.  But I am still surprised at the score in the game.

Turnovers didn't help Belfry for sure, but that is not why they lost this game. Pulaski was just better all around than they were tonight.

This could possibly be one of the worst teams under Haywood’s tenure. The schedule gets harder until district play begins, and Lawrence Co will not be a give me. Belfry will be 4-6 or 3-7 heading into the playoffs. The defense is extremely soft and the pass coverage last night was scary awful. The creek will rise again but it may be a few years when you look at this roster.

I don't think Belfry's pass defense is as bad as it seemed last night. Pulaski's offense is all about timing not necessarily about a WR beating his defender. Polston was hitting precision passes on slants and quick hitters all night. I think credit should go to Pulaski's passing game moreso than blaming Belfry's defense. Pulaski is going to pass like that on nearly every team on their schedule thus season. My biggest concern for Belfry's defense was the lack of pressure they were able to put on the QB.

I came here to basically post the same thing. The defense needs work, for sure. Belfry doesn't get lit up for 55 very often and they gave up big plays in the scrimmage against Raceland.

The front half of the schedule is brutal. They're staring at a possible 0-5 start. The good news is, 3A isn't going to impress anybody this year. I'm terms of having quality teams, 3A is at the bottom of Kentucky football for 2021. Despite their deficiencies, Belfry's schedule strength should have them back in the mix come playoff time.

I’ve said it a thousand times. Slants and TEs over the middle are almost always there for the taking in high school football.

Don’t forget the RB. No one covers the RB or the guy after the jet sweep fake.

That's a real shocker. Long time since Belfry got clocked like that. Pulaski must be really strong again.

Again as in years ago?

They beat Highlands and Cooper in semis within the last several years I believe. Johnny Hines has had some nice teams.

So years ago, gotcha!
