I know nothing about Fairdale, but Beechwood is loaded. Very deep. My only question marks coming in this year were at QB, OL replacement for graduating key guy Nachazel who plowed with Slusher, and kicker replacement.
 

QB - check. Cam returned. 
OL - Check. Austin Waddell obviously hit the weights hard and slotted in beautiful in the 2 scrimmages. 
K - Check?  New guy (hear a soccer player?) looked good against Cooper. Every kick looked better. 
 

Gonna be a fun team to watch. Go Tigers…….

Looks like Fairdale is faster than most NFL teams. If there are 4 players running 4.4, there should be 4 players with D1 scholarships.

Again, Beechwood rolls in this one with a running clock sometime in the 3rd quarter.

I saw that Jay has offers from East Tennessee, South Carolina State and Texas Southern.

Anything else you can tell us about the fellas playing for the Dawgs? It's always awesome to hear about folks here in the Ville from teams additional to T, St. X, Male, Manual, Central and DeSales!

Those dudes need to be on track team. That would make a state champion caliber 4x100m relay team.

Josh Kennebrew is another one of the speedsters at Fairdale, apparently. Senior WR/CB. He's a 3-year starter and the top returning receiver for the Dawgs.

I was looking through the stats from the last couple of seasons for Fairdale. They have a good number of skills players with meaningful PT in the last couple of seasons. It appears their QB is going to be Collin Bertram, a junior who switched over to Fairdale this year from Southern. John Blincoe is also 6'4" TE/DE who started much of last season as a freshman for the Dawgs.

This game still definitely, definitely leans in Beechwood's favor. But with that said, I think this is a great early challenge for Fairdale, whether or not it's a loss in the season opener.
 

 

Have to pick the Tigers in this one. Hergott is on a war path now that he elected to stay back and I think this is step 1 for him to prove he’s worth every bit of his scholarship offer from EKU. I’ve seen both scrimmages in person so far this year. This team hasn’t skipped a beat, and could probably beat last years team by 2 touchdowns. Berger has put on size, Waddell fills one of the spots on the line, while still being a fast, hard hitting line backer. Oh and not to mention they have 5 people that can receive a handoff in the backfield from Cam. This team will be deadly this year. Tigers by 21.
