Congratulations to Cutter on his UK commitment.

Cutter will be class of 2024 now.

He had good numbers this past season with 4000 all purpose yards, 64% completion, 42 TDs to 15 ints which is a little high imo. But I think what may have detered him from going to Alabama and some of the other elite schools was the QBs who had recently committed to those schools, like for instance just based off of the 2024 QB rankings, Jadyn Davis the #2 ranked QB is committed to Michigan, Julian Sayin the #4 ranked QB is committed to Bama, Luke Kromenhook the #8 ranked QB is committed to Florida State, and Jake Merklinger the #10 ranked QB is committed to Tennessee, also for what it's worth the #2 ranked QB from class of 2023 (reclassed to 22) is also at Tennessee

So when you look at his Top 5 Kentucky and Penn State were the only schools who didn't already have a highly ranked QB already committed. And if u expand that to his top 10 only Kentucky, Penn State, TCU, and Miami didn't have a top ranked QB committed in class of 23 and 24.  

And lastly If you were to also include class of 22 that would also remove Penn State and Miami since the #1 ranked QB who had a perfect rating on 24/7 is currently at Penn State and the the 16th ranked QB from that class also a 4 star is currently at Miami. So in terms of path of least resistance Kentucky and TCU were his best options.

Gotcha, that alllllll makes sense, and UK absolutely has a immediate need for QB. So, his field production was still on point last season, its just that the QB rooms at those schools were crowded.
