Steve Lovelace is the front-runner from the rumor mill in WKY.

This is a great situation for someone to get deep in the playoffs. With Trigg, Webster and Union in the district should give this program a shot at the region finial just about every year.  The right hire and support from the administration will go a long way in the success of the program, the wrong hire and it will be the same old story.

I agree 100%

IMO: Tilghman currently has some of the best young talent in WKY regardless of class.  They should be the favorites in the their respective region for the next several years.  The right hire will have them competing at the state level.  If this administration fumbles this decision, it will clearly be on them. The talent is there.

You would be correct on all accounts. 

Lovelace would be a great hire. Sometimes a change is good for both parties. He has has a couple of down years but his teams always play hard and coached well.

Definitely would be a great hire! if you look at what he's done over the past 10 plus years at Christian County his resume is one of the best in WKY.

I hear interviews are next week? Any truth to a coach in the Hopkins Co area looking at a move to Paducah?

I hear a Mayfield guy in Western Kentucky has applied. Person is not working in Mayfield at this time.

My opinion that would be an overrated hire. Id rather have a Lovelace type of guy around. Lovelace doesn't have an ego.
