Very impressed with the Rocks. They are playing Big Boy football in Louisville. Watching their DB's drop back in zone coverage is something I've never seen at the high school level. Dixie representing NKY just shows how weak the area is this year.

Yes, I think Trinity could beat Cincy St.X but I think it would be competitive game.

Far be it from me to defend the Dixie Dominators, but I will disagree that this game shows that NKY was weak this year. Dixie would be competitive with just about every team in 6A.  If they were playing Dunbar this weekend I would make Dixie the favorite to beat them. Right now calpreps has Dixie at #6 in 6A and I think that is about right. Trinity is just that much better than everyone else this year.

Calpreps projects it as Trinity 31 Cincy St.X 27. I would be surprised if they could score 27 on Trinity defense.

That stat report shows how dominating Trinity's defense was. They scored 56 points and didn't even have 300 yards of total offense. That tells me they were getting a lot of 3 and outs and short fields to score on, plus a pick 6.

While I agree with where you're going with this, the private schools are still within the confines of the rules. Wether their students are from IN, OH, or somewhere else in KY, if the rules say they can be there on the roster, nothing you can do. If they weren't there wouldn't be a coach in the state that wouldn't jump all over it to report the violation. Your beef isn't with the private schools, it's with the governing body (KHSAA) and the current rules. Besides, public or private, Trinity is going to beat any school in this state public or private.

The rules are the same for all schools (public and private) and this is a final game thread.
