Top Quarterbacks next year in NKY?

I think Bogle from Boone can put up some good numbers if he can get some receivers. He throws a nice ball, and he can definitely run. I think Thompson needs to utilize him a little more next year instead of relying heavily on Farris.

What is this forward pass thing you speak of? You sound like the departed O-coordinator or Woody Hayes.

I'd say junior-to-be Isler from CCH will be up there if he is healthy. He dressed varsity as a Frosh, and never took a snap on a talented freshman squad.

Are you sure he will be playing QB next year for the colonels. I heard that their safety might play?? Didn't he start their freshman year??

Jarrett Rouse of Ludlow...Every game last year Jarrett Rouse was showing great improvement as the season went on, and he did this while losing 4 receivers to injuries who were on top of the depth chart to start the year...

Senior-to-be safety Kyle Furnish was the QB when he was a freshman because there are no true QBs in that class.

Isler did not play on the frosh team, but rather shared duties as the QB on the JV team. He has a cannon I have heard. He sat this year out due to having Tommy John surgery.

Isler does have a cannon. If he recovers well I could see him being the starter. The only down fall is from what I've heard he is slow.

How's that "never taking a snap" thing a positive?

He never took a snap on the freshman team, he only took snaps on the JV team as a frosh. He started and finished the year starting on the JV, and dressing varsity. The obvious thing this suggests is he is very talented. CCH has had a lot of great QBs over the year including Bleser this past year and the only one I remember starting JV as a freshman was Drew Ellison. Clearer?

Add into that thought the fact that the district games start earlier next season than this year. Still wouldn't surprise me to see Dale go with Tony at the qb however. Nothing against Clay, who did more than an admirable job this season particularly when you consider he played no qb last year and split the qb job his frosh year, but Tony is more a prototype qb than Clay. Plus it really frees Clay to play both O and D next year.

Once again your logic is sound...just a year late!

I not sure on starting JV over fresh is that big of a thing . If there's now one else to play there or your not that deep at that position . I can see starting Varsity as a fresh as Big . I know Bleser had his same Wr's and a Rb on his team as a fresh , and went undefeated . Ellison was a good athlete and ran the ball well , but not a big passer . Bleser had what 3 , 1000 yd wr's or close . And 2 1000 yd rb's , I think the O was more open with Bleser than Ellison . So starting JV over Fresh ???? But I've heard some good things about the Qb to be . Can't wait to see !!!

Junior-to-be Ben Parr from NewCath. He had a sensational Frosh season and was in the running to start this past year but injured his shoulder diving for a baseball. He will be a good weapon for NewCath as his arm will kill people deep and him running away from defenders will make him a double threat.

Is it too much to start the season with inexperience at QB AND inexperience on the line? ?

CCH is going to find out.

I don't think either Pete or Bo had 1000. They both had about 50 catches I would guess.

I think one of the CCH announcers may have said this at the state game . I thought they said Sutton , Bo , and maybe Wise or ?

I'd guess Bo and Pete ended up in the 700 yard range. No one else would be close to 300 would be my guess.

Wise played FB/TE ? Who played the other wr that went in and out alot ? A Jr maybe ?
