I not sure on starting JV over fresh is that big of a thing .

I'm not annointing the kid by any means, just stating he has potential.

:thumb: I've heard he's got some talent . Can't wait to see him play .

He never took a snap on the freshman team, he only took snaps on the JV team as a frosh. He started and finished the year starting on the JV, and dressing varsity. The obvious thing this suggests is he is very talented. CCH has had a lot of great QBs over the year including Bleser this past year and the only one I remember starting JV as a freshman was Drew Ellison. Clearer?

Actually, it's no clearer for me since you said a few posts ago that he "shared" the JV duties as a frosh. Of course, that cost him a lot of snaps in practice and cost him snaps in games as well.

On the positive side, he did learn how to dress for a varsity game. The equipment is totally different than at the freshman level and could have been really confusing.

Not sure how snaps in practice equate to talent. He is very talented and that is all that I said. He took as many snaps on JV as a freshman as Guidugli and the kid he shared duties with did on the HHS freshman team. He missed last year, thats why I said "if he is healthy". What are you not getting? I at least now know that you understand the equipment similarity. I wasn't originally sure if I was going to have point out the subtle differences.

Junior-to-be Ben Parr from NewCath. He had a sensational Frosh season and was in the running to start this past year but injured his shoulder diving for a baseball. He will be a good weapon for NewCath as his arm will kill people deep and him running away from defenders will make him a double threat.

In the program at the state finals the roster for NCC had Harris listed as a junior. Mistake?

Yes, it was a mistake. Parr, according to a few very good sources, has the tools to develop into a better scrambler than Sam Diehl did. He has better arm strength. Now it is a matter of being able to control the game and make reads. That and a new offensive line will tell the tale.

Thanks.
