Often the question arises what type of facility a school might have. Grass or turf? Are they changing or keeping it the same. I made a spreadsheet that I hope is accurate. Covington Holy Cross

Newport Central Catholic

Boone, Conner and Cooper in nky will have turf in not too distant future.

Both Covington Holy Cross and Newport Central Catholic play their home games at stadiums with turf fields.

I am surprised that only 2 teams do not have a stadium of their own.

Scott Co. technically doesn't have a field they have a practice field.They play their home games at the new Great Crossing facility.

True. But the Great Crossing field has a SCOTT COUNTY painted end zone and a GREAT CROSSING painted end zone so I gave them partial credit.

Very good point. For those who don’t know, Holy Cross plays at Thomas More University and Newport Central Catholic plays at Newport High.

I guess it is technically three as Owensboro Catholic shares a stadium with Kentucky Wesleyan College.

It wasn’t that many years ago that DeSales was on the no stadium list. They played at Manual, Iroquois, Southern, and basically wherever they could find an open field.

That is true. It was meant to be a shared field. It's just kind of bad they have to take a bus to every game. I was told they meet at SCHS and take buses to their games at Great Crossing.

Brossart was also on that list until recently.

Haven’t seen it, but have heard great things about it.
