NFL Expansion

If the NFL expanded, what city do you think should get a team?

I totally believe Louisville deserves consideration.

Louisville is definitely not an option for an NFL team IMO. Four teams within six hours of Louisville.

The ones I always read about are:

- San Antonio - Austin area
- St. Louis
- Toronto or Montreal
- Mexico City
- 2nd Chicago team

I know the Chargers left but you'd probably put San Diego on the list.

San Diego has no chance unless they build a new stadium first. San Antonio is a possibility but they would have to build something other than the Alomodome. Also, the emperor of Irving would fight tooth and nail to keep a team from being there. 

St.Louis will forever be the city that owners dangle out there saying "build me a stadium or I am off to St. Louis." This is no different than what NBA Owners do with Seattle.

These aren’t cities where I think the NFL would necessarily go, but places that I think the NFL would do well in: Omaha, Louisville, Toronto, and San Antonio. Only 2 of these are realistic possibilities in my opinion, but I think all 4 would be great spots. The worst option would be adding another team in Chicago. You can’t add an expansion team in a city that has been a part of the NFL for 100 years.

2.Birmingham

3.Memphis

4.San Antonio

5.Mexico City

Are there territory rights when adding a new team? I know Louisville is probably a pipe dream, but it might also be impractical because Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and Nashville all have teams.

I think London and Mexico City are at the top of the NFL wish list.

While I'm not ruling out expansion to Mexico City (more likely) or London...I'd say there's a better chance of hell freezing over than there is of them giving up the N-F-L.
