August 25, 20206 yr 4 game series against the Brewers. Reds lost game 1 last night. Castillo goes tonight, hopefully he can pick up his first win. Surely the bats will start heating up eventually, right?
August 25, 20206 yr I started this two years ago but is anybody ready to agree that Votto has lost his skills? It has also effected him defensely. Guess it was just not April and a slow start.

He is currently at exactly .200 we will see since Bell is now hitting him leadoff instead of probably 8th where he probably should be hitting.

August 26, 20206 yr My point with Votto can not be expressed more than that last at bat. Bases nobody out. Votto takes six pitches and only swings at one and strikes out looking. Leading out he swings and when aggression is needed, he is passive. He does not understand the game.
