GoldenBoy23
If they meet in region play they could play back to back nights as well. I am not being arrogant I am being a realist. They won't be able to make up 21 pts, especially in the fieldhouse in March. This region is a two team race with brossart as a far third and Scott behind them. I agree that they are a talented team but they cant play with Mason or GRC. Scott game is shooting the three point shot,,They made only 3 three point field goals out of about 25 against Mason if they make maybe 3 or 4 more of them the game is alot closer,,,Scott played SK the night before left it our on the floor had no legs against Mason coudnt get thier Legs underneath them to shoot it either..... I think Mason is the best team in the region can Scott beat them with Fresh legs maybe not but they game wont be as ugly and it wont be a 20 point loss i will place a bet on that...... train3399
2nd region UHA is 0-fer this year. Tough schedule? Yes, but we ARE talking about UHA. The 6' 10" Langhi better be good right away or they won't come close to pre-season rankings or the tradition of UHA. 3rd region McLean County is undefeated and playing well early. Could they be a dark horse in the 3rd? Region 3 class "A" favorite? :dancingpa Stick around it is a long season and we will find out more about these two "suprises".
CatchMeIfYouCan
14th Region Riverside Christian is 3-0 this season & they won a total of 3 games ALL of last season. Granted they have beaten a couple of weak teams but they played those same teams last season & came away with only 3 victories the whole season. FANOFTHE11th
Although not a complete surprise, I am impressed with Tates Creek in the 11th Region. Very athletic and well coached. I would give them "Darkhorse" status.
BGGreen
In NKY, it's got to be St. Henry so far; but it's really way too early to tell. Let's check back in a couple weeks.
Master of the Hardwood
14th I would have to say Letcher Central is a little of a surprise. I know they have a giant school, but with the graduates they had last year, they have been impressive so far this year. Also, i would have to Breathitt County is looking well this year too. They should of beat a top rated Hazard team on Friday, but let it slip away in the end after leading the whole game. Going to be a tough region this year, about 8 or 9 teams could go out of the 14th Region again this year.
SouthernSportsFan
12th: Suprise good: Mercer County and Wayne County Suprise bad: East Jessamine
rudedogky
15th Region Suprise team Allen Central(3-1)-They only won three games all of last season as well as the year before. They haven't had a winning season since 02'-03', I think it was Mikey Slone's senior season when they were(18-10).They are on the right track for a winning season....So thats definitly my suprise team I seen them play the 1st half @ Harlan. They looked weak & John Smith was killing them, but they came back after I left so I'm not sure how they looked, but I guess pretty good. LCC does have a nice team. The Banks kid is a player.I also liked how they turned out the lights for the starting lineups.
Augger
Breathitt County in the 14th.
RA09
In the 16th I would say West Carter and Boyd Co. First year coach Jermey Webb of West Carter is doing an excellent job with the Comets.
cch5432
In the 9th I'd say St. Henry. With 9 seniors I'm sure some expected it, but not me. On a down note Ryle isn't playing nearly as well as I expected them to.
Goliath
In the 16th it would probably be Ashland starting off 1-2 going into an away game against Mason.
The Professor
In the 14th region I'd say Letcher County Central. They lost most of their team to graduation last year, but they've already defeated a good Lee County team, and Leslie County as well. Plus they played one of the region favorites, June Buchanan, to a 7 point loss at JBS.
