UK pulls out a close game- UK-63 UL-59.

Have you not seen that Bradley has played very little point in the last two games, that he has just mainly been at 2 guard. Even when Jasper goes out of the game Porter comes in then to run the point...

 

Did you not read my post, I said that Bradley has moved off PG, because he is not a true PG. But at the beginging of the year he was supposed to be the PG this year, since Rondo left, guess that didnt work out very well.

Nah, I dont think they have to hit that many, but the more they knock down, the better.

So that makes it acceptable? And Bradley may get alot of assist but I would say he has the same amount of turnovers too, which would not be the 2:1 ratio that PG strive for, but as I said earlier Bradley is not a true point guard.

He said Bradley sucks, because he is out of control and makes to many turnovers, and I was just pointing that well I guess he thinks the players must suck to since they turn the ball over just as much...Then you point out for some reason why I still dont know but you say that the 2:1 ratio is not what PG strive for and that is true but what was your point in saying that. Because nkyboy was talking alot about the IU game, and well Bradley didn't really play pg at all that game..So really you jumped into a conversation that you didn't know really anything about, and if you would have read my post before that then you would have understood that...

Ok you really confused me now... Basically I am saying that Bradley is not a true Point Guard. At the beginging of the year I said Jasper would be moved to the point in the middle of the year, this seems to have happend a little early.(Because of Bradleys poor play IMO). And yes I beileve that Jasper is MORE of a true Point Guard then Bradley... I have been more impressed with Jasper this year at the PG position then Bradley. Bradley definately looks to Shoot first and Pass second. Where as Jaspers mentality seems to be the opposite. Also Jasper is only a freshman so I can live with more mistakes then coming from a veteran like Bradley!!! JMO though but according to you I know nothing about this!

I didn't say you knew nothing about this, I said you knew nothing about what me and nkyboy was arguing about...And yeah your right when it comes down to who is more of a TRUE point guard it definitely is Jasper. Bradley is kind of a cross between both...I honestly dont know how people can have been more impressed with Jasper running the pg spot over Bradley though so far this year. Jasper as we saw last game struggles with faster players on him. While Bradley creates alot of shots for other people as well just like Jasper, except Bradley is also a threat to score the ball. Have you all not noticed that most of the best teams we have had over the past 15 years has had a PG who can score running the show. First Travis Ford, then Epps, then Turner who wasn't much a outside threat but finished better than any other PG during that time. Then 03 we had Fitch running the point and he could score, then 04 we had Hawkins who early in career didn't score much but that senior year he was a good scoring threat. The Duke teams with Avery and Jay Williams they both were PG who were more of shooters on their team...So that is something I have never got was why people just automatically put down Bradley when he was at the PG spot. You all seemed really to forgive Jasper when he made more mistakes than Bradley at the pg spot, and that was just because alot of you just never really wanted to give Bradley a shot to begin with.

 

So yeah I still think Bradley could have done a good job running the pg spot for us this year. Because he had done a good job getting other players involved when he was at pg, but he was also a threat to score. But right I do agree that having Jasper in the starting lineup works better because we dont have a PF. Thomas shouldn't ever start, and well Stevenson is just not ready to be a starting PF. So it helps the team better by putting Jasper in at PG, and allowing Bradley to shoot more now at the 2...

This game reminds me a lot of last year's game going in (Im not saying I think UK will blow UL out). But neither team has proven themselves as being good yet. Also both teams have several young players playing important roles, particularly in the back court. I think this could potentially be a much higher scoring, more entertaining game than UK-IU. Or maybe its just wishful thinking. :lol:

Things could just as easily get ugly for UK. I know you are trying to stack all the cards (not pun intended) against UL, but the fact is neither team is performing that well right now.... honestly, there is no outcome that would suprise me in this game (UK close win, big win; UL close win, big win). Best of luck to both teams that represent this state well (on the football field at lest ).
