I can see all the results that set up these matchups happening except 2017 Scott over 2010 Holmes.

2010 Holmes was very good but they did lose to a Newport team that I don't believe was better than Scott. And the 2017 Bowling Green team that won state and beat Scott by 1 point in the Final Four dominated the state of Kentucky all season so I wouldn't say its out of the realm of possibility. In this kind of voting poll I think postseason success matters. You've got the only two NKY State Champions of the decade, (14 & 18 CovCath) the only Runner Up (17 Cooper), and one of the four Semifinalist (17 Scott, 15 CovCath, 16 NewCath, 19 Campbell).

I agree. Two D1 players. Shot 57% including 46% on threes. Hard to say anyone else was better.

 

The team missing from the bracket that should be in the mix is 2018 Cooper which beat CCH earlier in the year.

Final round was announced today. 2017 Scott vs 2017 Cooper. This matchup was 1 basket away from being the 2017 State Championship Game. Voting ends Friday.

Regardless of the outcome,The Jake was incredible that season, and I’ll never forget that state tournament because of him.
