The wait is over. Here are the results of week 11; the culmination of the season-long "Beat mcpapa" basketball contest. Evidently, through blind luck, several of you were able to do just that.

As always, the contest results are not final for 24 hrs. All contestants have 24 hours to report any errors. Once it is final, the winner should consult the @theguru to claim their prize:

Contest Prizes for the 2019-2020 School Year

Because Lee County and Jenkins did not play; every contestant was awarded a score of 8 for that game (immediately following the super game and semi-super game scores). All other picks were adjusted down accordingly. For example, my picks were as follows:

12 Butler

10 Washington County

8 Madison Southern

6 Lee County

5 Muhlenberg County

3 DeSales

2 East Jessamine

1 Beechwood

Because of the game not played, the entry became:

12 Butler

10 Washington County

8 Lee County (whether I picked Lee or Jenkins)

6 Madison Southern

5 Muhlenberg County

3 DeSales

2 East Jessamine

1 Beechwood

As painful as this is for me to report (it has taken me a full week to recover from the horror), I announce with great regret that the winner of the Week 11 contest was Can'tcoach with a score of 35 (everyone got the 12-point game wrong; and Can'tpick...er...Can'tcoach somehow blundered into getting all the other games correct). There. It's out. That was cathartic.

@Can'tcoach

Here are the scores of the Week 11 games:

Jeffersontown 64 Butler 54 (12-point super game)

Washington County 80 Green County 72

Highlands 78 Beechwood 63

Madison Southern 75 Corbin 65

Muhlenberg County 61 Owensboro Catholic 59

North Oldham 59 DeSales 57

Danville 56 East Jessamine 49

Lee County - Jenkins DNP

Again, please add up your scores and let me know if there's a discrepancy. Scoring was complicated; I think I got it right.

And without further ado; here are the final results for the season-long contest:

245 dmh115. I know there's no prize for finishing first after the smoke clears, but if you're in the Maysville area, shoot me a PM and dinner's on me. I might even supersize it.

241 Can'tcoach. Congratulations - of all the losers, you were the best.

238 Fly Pattern

235 16thBBall Fan

233 Randy Parker

224 The Professor

223 mcpapa - To those of you ahead of me; you stink and I hate you.

222 4 Quarters

221 Brcatz

217 NEERFAN

118 MNCM

100 PurplePride92

90 Soapy Water

66 ChiefSmoke

60 Squirrel

43 Hogman

19 Fat Nate

5 catsfan1984

Please note that if anyone with a score of 233 or higher had had the stones to pick J'Town in the super game, you would have defeated or tied dmh115.

Double-check your scores and let me know if I made a miscalculation. It's been fun, and maybe we'll do it again next year!

Congrats to @dmh115 for the win and also thanks to @mcpapa for running the contest. At least I was able to beat that Parker kid.

Great contest.

Congrats. Thanks @mcpapa .

You shutup too.

Thanks for running the contest Papa!

I forgot to enter a couple of the weekly contest and that hurt my overall but these contest are a lot of fun. Really enjoy them.

You shutup too.

You were so insignificant in this contest I didn't even mention you.

What the heck happened here. I was so far out of it a couple of weeks ago that I spent maybe 10 minutes total on my picks for the last 2 weeks combined. I guess that sums up my expertise as a high school basketball analyst.
