Pretty Boy 3
Miami sends Jason Williams, Posey ( contracts add up to about 1 million less than Iverson) and a future draft choice. Miami receives Allen Iverson.. just throwing it out there, because Cap wise it works

HammerTime
I did not hear that... however, I read a few days ago Golden State could be interested in sending Baron Davis and a couple other young players to Philly. I will see if I can find that article. I think that would be a GREAT deal for Phily.
ladiesbballcoach
Blurb in the Enquirer today said AI's nameplate was removed from his locker and the locker was cleaned out.
Blue Man
I kinda don't blame him for trying to leave philly. I mean havn't had a good season since 2001, and thats just cause larry brown. And he needs to go to a good team with good players around him.
5wide
You want Odom instead of AI? I know Odom & Kobe work good together but having 2 top 50 players of all time might could turn out to be good for the Lakers although I know your argument is AI & Kobe sharing the ball but it might could work out If I had Kobe Bryant I had. Bryant and AI wouldn't complement each other very well...they both bring a lot of similar attributes...Bryant and Odom both bring different strengths to your team. I don't think it would be a good trade for LA...it would make for some spectacular performances when both were on, but in the long run it would result in more less W's, IMO. bigcat44
I think that would be a GREAT deal for Phily. I think that Philly is not going to get anywhere near value for him, I think that proposed trade with Golden State sounds great for them and they should take it and run IMO. Hangman
I heard that if Philly does a trade with GS, J-Rich will be involved.
SvFan4life
Phill just tried to trade Iverson to the Bobcats but Iverson said he didn't want to play for them so the trade didn't happen.
bigcat44
I heard that if Philly does a trade with GS, J-Rich will be involved. I think that it is going to be very difficult to work out and will take a while. I guess Iverson: DNP (team decision) is going to be a very common site on ESPN bottomline. CatchMeIfYouCan
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2695147 Source: Iverson was not keen on playing for Charlotte "The Inquirer reported that a source indicated Iverson's trade demand did not include limitations on where he was sent. But that apparently did not include the Bobcats (5-15), who have struggled on the floor and at the box office since joining the NBA in 2004." CatchMeIfYouCan
http://www.nba.com/bobcats/insider_main_0607.html BOBCATS DENY REPORT ABOUT A.I. "David Aldridge reported later in the day that the Bobcats and Sixers were close to getting a deal done." "That is the biggest crap I have ever seen," Bickerstaff said. "It didn’t even come into play. So there is no response to that.
nptwildcat
I think Golden State would be a good fit for A.I. having an offensive minded coach in Nelson would do wonders.
