dd734
Nice win for the Camels, and they were down a starter.

mcpapa
The regional will be exciting. I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw this score. Might just be wide-open.
Guest
Camels came to play, don’t count them out. Big game in the desert, and yes they where down a huge impact player.
cluckwilton
Bourbon was quicker, and more athletic. Camels just plodded along with some good hustle and maintained their composure. Camels looked like boys among men. Great win for Campbell County!
4 Quarters
First of all I wasn't at the game, but I've seen both teams play more than once, and I'm not taking anything away from Campbell County, but this game was a fluke.
Jim Beam
Great game for the Camels!! Young and getting stronger and better every day! Gross-18 points and 13 rebounds; Hegyi had 18 points; Beiting 20 points; Reinhardt 9 points. Homegrown boys!!!
Bears85
And.....how are you not taking anything from the Camel's?

GeneraLee
This is a very unfair statement towards Campbell... Nothing Campbell does is a fluke. Russell does incredible work with his kids. Campbell guards hard to pressure. Sounds like to me Camels has a great gameplan and showed they can beat anyone in the region at any time. Imagine being a kid and beating the 10th #1 and having someone tell you it was a fluke!! First of all I wasn't at the game, but I've seen both teams play more than once, and I'm not taking anything away from Campbell County, but this game was a fluke. Haha. Man, you can’t say “I’m not taking anything away from Campbell Co.” then immediately say their effort was a fluke. That’s like the old “with all due respect...” Campbell is tough at home. Played Covington Catholic to a close game (yes, they lost) but it’s not like they are a bad team. They’ve been fighting through a ton of illness...come through, play hard, get a big win...and “fluke”. How dismissive. That’s a shame.
4 Quarters
And.....how are you not taking anything from the Camel's? Hey, I've liked Campbell County ever since Russell has been there. As I said I've seen both these teams more once this year, actually Campbell 3 times and Bourbon 4 times. Ok, I'll change my wording from a fluke to a huge upset. If they meet again down the road we'll see what happens.
STPB
Growing real tired of hearing people down effort and accomplishments of young high school athletes. Calling the Camels win a fluke is disgraceful. I don’t even understand why you would even comment if that is what is being said. I also guess those “boys” beat those “men”. I think people need to remember that just because the Camels lost a lot from last years team doesn’t mean they cannot win the 10th. They are the defending champions. Edited February 7, 2020 by STPB Mistyped 9th region instead of 10th.
