Can anyone tell me how much it cost for a Beer, Water, Coke at Kings Island now?

Pretty much Reds game level pricing, maybe a buck or so less. At Winterfest, 2 slices of Larosas pizza, a breadstick and drink was like $13.

Any time we go, we always leave for lunch/dinner and go back in. Much cheaper that way.

I will occasionally get one of the refillable sodas.

Two years ago, my son lived one mile from Kings Island. He had a KI pass and purchased the food plan which at that time was one meal a day. He worked in downtown Cincinnati and would park his car near KI. Every night after work when the park was open, he would get off the bus, walk into the park, get food from one of the restaurants and immediately leave. He then had a nice lunch for work the next day. He saved a ton of money on downtown lunches taking advantage of this! I think KI closed the loophole the next year. My son didn't care as much since he moved elsewhere.

This is what we do, more so just because I need a break from it all. Some of my cousins pack a cooler and walk back out to the car for lunch/dinner.

The last time I was there which was a long time ago. A bottle of water was around $3.50 and a beer was around $5.00 for I think a 16oz or 12oz cup. What do they cost now?

Too long of a walk on a summer day, to leave, go to a packed Mason restaurant and come back to save $10-15.

Oh yeah, I agree with you there. For me it is not about the money savings, it is more about leaving the park around 2:00 to go back to the hotel and get away from it all for three hours. Half the time I do not make it back since I have done it so many times and I can't handle the jostling as well as I could in my youth. With my cousin example, it would not be worth it to me to walk back out to the car to eat a ham sandwich. I am all about convenience and willing to pay the extra few bucks to avoid the additional mile walk to save on said hot day.

I feel about the same as you. We typically stay at Great Wolfe lodge when we go and half the time I never even make it into the amusement park. I'll go in during hours that I know the lines aren't long but other than that I'd just soon hang out at the tiki bar, ride the water coaster a few times, sit in the hot tub, then go back to the room for more beers and whatever sports are on tv.

For years I would go in and take our youngest daughter to the small kids area and let my better half go ride the big rides with the other two, but she's tall enough now that she can ride most everything with her mom. So I spend most of my time there at the lodge.

Should be pretty cheap, since they're closed for the season. LOL

I know they're closed. I wanted to know what the most recent prices were from last season. I figured that was pretty obvious. I guess not.

My opinion, it's not cheap at KI but I don't think it is outrageous either.

I like that they offer a ton of food and snack options (including many local and national places that many like. LaRosas, Skyline, Graeters (sp), Chik Fil A, Subway, etc.

I don't like that they "bundle" all their meals. Everything has to be a "meal", why can't I just get a slice of pizza? Or one dang coney? I don't think there's anywhere in the park that you can just go buy a hot dog.

I haven't been to KI in 25 years. I now have 6-8 year old boys. What are the minimum height requirements on the "big" rides?

48-54" if my memory serves me right. Depends on the ride.
