December 5, 200619 yr Loretta has no power, not what you would want in a platoon 1B. Hatte doesn't either...you ready to run him out of town? When you are getting 20+ bombs from SS (my prediction), you can live with a high average / high on-base guy at 1B...IMHO.

Hatteberg's OPS was in the low .800s, passable for a 1B, but I wouldn't want to count on him so heavily for 2007. Loretta's OPS was in the low .700s ... passable for a 2B but totally unacceptable for a guy on the corners.
