Sure. The administration views the football team as one of the activities the students can participate in. Like chess club or choir. They probably view this year as a success. The football team checked all the boxes this year. State championship is not one of the boxes.

I just think the administration doesn’t get it when it comes to Highlands Football. Football success isn't the first priority and it shouldn’t be. It is incredibly difficult to run a powerhouse like Dale did.

No for sure. I hope Highlands Football turns it around. I just think you and I care about it more than the administration. And I do have respect for the program it’s one of my favorite things. I’m right there with you. I just think the community is not as concerned as the alumni of the program.

BW committed the cardinal sin of a Coach last year when he complained to a media outlet that he didn’t like people talking about him. When he did that he summed up his career as a head coach for me.

 

I just can’t stand by and be silent. I have a duty to fight for his removal.

What I said about the administration was really just deduced from their actions. If they were concerned about state championships they would have put more heat on BW or worse. But then the question is who could and would do that job better?

It won’t be an easy task finding the right guy but after a few try’s at CovCath they got it right so why not at Highlands.

You are so full of yourself it is unbelievable. I read comments people like you post and realize where high school sports are headed. As I said before if you have this DUTY approach the principal, AD, superintendent and voice your concerns. Coaches don't deserve to be treated like crap by the media but especially by someone like you. It won't matter who the coach is at the Big FT. If they don't win it all, or win big, or the right kids aren't playing both ways, etc. you'll be super critical. You watched a run of talent for about 10 years that was unparalleled. It may happen again, but probably not.
