January 3, 20206 yr The holidays means Tolkien, just as it has for over two decades for me. When I was younger and had more time, I used to read the entirety of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy over the Christmas season. Just this one to begin 2020.

January 5, 20206 yr Just finished JP’s “The Inn”. Starting Baldacci’s “A Minute to Midnight”, the Atlee Pine series—second book.
January 7, 20206 yr Oh and this just came in at the office. Who else is excited? A rip-roaring roller coaster ride!
January 7, 20206 yr Two stars out of four for this one. Think farfetched along the lines of "Relic" by Preston and Child, but without a compelling character like Pendergast to carry the day.
