A Buckeye fan vs. a Buckeye hate squad member lol. We’re not gonna agree, I differ to people who knows more about football than me, like Joel Klatt, onto the second half. You or Deuce gonna chime in on Klatt’s take, or shrug it off?

1...Who's Joel Klatt?

2...I defer to the rules as written.

3...I hate OSU, but I'm not biased against them. Show me once where I have been anything less than complimentary of their play this season.

Joel Klatt:

Keep in mind that replay is only supposed to get involved if they can CONFIRM every aspect of Targeting.

With two questionable (at best) aspects

1) level changes late

2) defender wraps up with no launch

This was an awful and game changing call (replay).

1. Targeting rule says nothing about “level change”

2. There doesn’t have to be a launch for it to be targeting

How is the defender supposed to know that Trevor Lawrence is going to duck in to this hit? He’s 6’6” and is bracing for the hit. Wade is running full speed trying to tackle someone that is 6” taller than he is. Lawrence wasn’t defenseless. Running backs take this hit every play.

As a defender, don’t lower your head and it isn’t targeting.

Nice throw there by Fields.

Fields is incredible. I thought Clemson would give him some problems, but he's just playing catch out there.

Targeting should be treated like technical fouls. The only way you get tossed is if you get two of them confirmed by replay.

Tossing guys for one hit is beyond absurd.

Agree 100%!

Now the two teams have exchanged the ball and I would say the momentum is equal.

OSU winning both LOS. No way to win when that happens.

Momentum in sports can make things like that change quickly.

Lawrence throws a lot of risky balls, exactly why I said Fields is better. Lawrence has been lucky not to be picked on a few occasions.

Teams seem to look pretty even now the defenses are taking over.

Big penalty on the punt gives Clemson another big first down.

Just when OSU was ready to take the momentum and have good field position they hit the punter.

I still feel no one has momentum right now and this is a straight up half of a game for a date with LSU.

Big penalty on the punt gives Clemson another big first down.

Does OSU not know the rules?

Clemson scores again aided by another personal foul to lead 21-16.
