BGGreen
Kinda Scary for the rest of the State, if Ballard was #2??
Log Mountain Boy
After watching the game, I know its early in the year, but I dont think Ballard is the 2nd best team. They dont have guys that can flat out score like Scott Co had. Scott Co played great led by Matt Walls and Bud Mackey did a very good job as well, particularly after the 1st qtr. shooterx3
Ballard is athletic, but they don't have the outside game to be #2 in the state Lexington Catholic is the team that everyone has underated Mark this post
KY Thorobred
This score is unreal! Congrats to the Cards for putting even more fear into the rest of the state!
Qryche11
Wow...ScottCo looks to be the early favorite. I cant wait until they play the Colonels from Cov Cath.... I may have to purchase a ticket and watch some excellent basketball.
uk96
Scott County could be alot of small college teams.......
sccards60
Scott County flat out rolled after the first quarter. Both teams played sloppy with a lot of turnovers, but very early in the season there is plenty of time to straighten that stuff out.

Novosel & crew are underrated

polarbear1994
Mason Co. / Scott co. Jan 12 @ Scott County. That'll be a classic!
bellalumni40
Mason Co. / Scott co. Jan 12 @ Scott County. That'll be a classic! Indeed it may be. But there is another big matchup for Scott Co. on Saturday night with UHA. We'll get our first dose of the big class of 2008 with a Hopson vs. Mackey matchup. That being said, Matt Walls owned the first half of this game. He had 20 or 22 i believe and ended up with around 30. Mackey is good on the point for this team. Getting Walls off the ball coming off screens and setting up on Mackeys penetration sets up well for them. Portwood had a rough game, but he will be a big factor for them this year. Jordan Lee blocks a lot of shots, but he almost tries to block too many as he was out of position on the boards a lot. I'm sure Ballard won the battle on the boards, as it seems like they were all over them, especially on the offensive end. The four spot is a little shaky for the Cards, but they have a lot of kids that can play there in Hundley, Phares, Givens, and Mingue. Its going to be tough to take this team down. Walls and Mackey are a tough combo.
