Almost sounds like you're talking about the fair grounds.

When it is a day like today, I don't care how new or fancy the stadium is, it will be coooooold.

Yeah, it seems like we were on the warm side last time I went. I guess that was 2003, which was a loss. I didn't make it down in 2004, when we won.

Hmm, maybe I'm a jinx! :irked:

Dale's wearing purple today.

But we can be sure that he won't be wearing his head set!

Yeah, he's probably bored with doing that...having done it so many times.
Is this class or lack of, not to mention your rival and neighbor CC as well as NCC

Hmmmmmmmmmm

I can't imagine a CCH fan who is hurt by this and I can't imagine Ft Wright Elementary having a "Go Birds" sign. That would simply be wrong.

With 5 schools in the Ft Thomas district I guess we can live with ONE of them cheering for NCC. :D

Good to see Highlands do this for NCC.

Now let's move those 2 C's to the front and straighten out that center hash ( / => -- ) in the N and we're in business :p .

Just curious as to how many Ft. Thomas kids play for Newcath? I grew up in Ft. Thomas in the 70's and 80's but don't recall hardly any of my friends including those who attended St. thomas or St. Catherine leaving the Ft. Thomas school district to attend Newport Catholic.

I grew up (although that's a matter of debate) then too. I think there's always been quite a few. Don't know any numbers though.

It goes both ways i think.... there are a few St. cath and St. thomsa boys that go to Highlands but most go to NCC nowdays.

I think there was an article in one of the city mags last year that there was 20 - 23 Ft T kids on the team

CCH and Highlands respect each other but by no means do they cheer for each other, in my opinion. Which is fine.

It is obvious from what I heard happened at the CCH game tonight. From what I heard, there were some former Highlands players that were not given a warm welcome during a halftime award presentation. Can someone give more details on what took place, or is it being blown totally out of proportion? If this did take place, then shame on anybody that didn't applaud what these guys did 25 years ago for their respective schools. Or was it just because it was Highlands? :irked:

who were they honoring....former state champs from 25 yrs ago?

There was a nice bit in the paper this morning about some former HHS state champs as well as Sutkamp from Bellevue...back in those days... I think HHS and Bellevue went to a lot of state finals in their respective classes.

although you may be surprised in the near future how many kids end up going to HHS....:ylsuper:

Yeah the same person received the award tonight in Louisville. They did reconize the state champs from 25 years ago. Maybe the Newspaper had something to do with the reaction, even if there was one. Who Knows!!!!!!!!!!!!
