A win, not pretty but nonetheless a win....Rebounding lacked fundamentals, boxing out and putting a body on an opponent.

Bradley handled the PG much better tonight. Morris was looking to score, inside and on the baseline. Effort was there but not a highlight film game. I thought Meeks played well, broke down the defense with dribble penetration. Crawford played hard, forced some shots but no one, on either team shot well, until late.

Outside shooting was poor for the most part, plus shot selection was not in the flow of the offense. Sometimes you will have games, where neither team could establish the tempo and you just have to survive, win and get ready for the next one.

I like Jasper, his floor awareness and instincts, along with Meeks. Porter gives his best and once Stevenson gets some upper body size, he will help more.

Cats started slow but finished well. Good defensive effort and nice pickup on offense the 2nd half shooting 56%..

Morris 17 pts. 8 Reb. leads the way followed by Joe Crawford with 15 and Stevenson 14 pts. hitting 7-7 but had 0 defensive reb.

Defense had 38 deflections and 8 steals.

Freshman once again looked impressive. Rebounding needs some attention & need to take better care of the ball.

That was brutal to watch. RM looked good. Kermit played well. They were awful on the glass. Meeks and Jasper are going to have some ups and downs over the next 6 weeks, but they will be better for it in the long run. Still a lot of work to be done...
