He throws the ball all over the place completely nullifies any chance you have of making a point. Check his turnovers on the year, then get back to me and see if you can make me believe anything you say. Your utter dislike for Sheray comes out when you make that statement b/c it is simply not true. He got boards, and he got defensive boards. How many defensive boards did Stevenson get? You can throw the ball all over the place in your set offense and not always get a turnover. That doesn't mean you're making good passes. You can defend him all you want, but you're never going to convince me and most others that Sheray should be getting more than 8-10 minutes a game.

Now I dont think he should be getting 10 more minutes than Stevenson, because that just crazy. But especially early in the year we need Thomas and Stevenson probably splitting the same amount of minutes, because with the tough non conference schedule we need an experience player to help Stevenson with his growing pains early in the year. But as the season goes on then I think we should see Thomas minutes go down, and Stevenson taking even more minutes...

I would much rather see their time be equal than seeing Thomas getting 25-30 mins a game and Stevenson getting 15-20.

The only reasoning behind this that I can think of, was just giving Thomas a chance to get more game minutes to try to help get him more into the flow of the season. Now if Tubby keeps doing this and playing him alot more than Stevenson, then I will be quite upset at Tubby...
November 30, 200619 yr Unfortunately, Tubby is going to live and dies with SHE-Ray I have always been a Tubby supporter, but if he stiffles this team by playing a nonproductive Thomas 27 minutes a game, I can't understand that.
