How do you wash your car?

Featured Replies

Do it yourself at home? Do it yourself at a car wash? Go through an automatic car wash? Pay somebody else to do it? Make your kids do it? Don't wash it at all?

I do it myself at a car wash.

What about you?

I have a membership with a really good automatic wash. $30 a month, unlimited washes. All I usually have to do is touch up the wheels a bit, but it does an excellent job.

I now have a similar car wash membership, like the Deuce. One of the best birthday presents I have ever received.

I used to wash the car myself with a bucket, a sponge, and a drying towel. I do great work, but I couldn't make a living doing it. I am very slow, but anal enough for the cars to always look good.

I bought a used vehicle from a dealer. The dealer includes free car washes and oil changes with the purchase. I used to do it myself. My vehicle gets washed a lot more now.

Water... at Mike’s. Nobody can touch Mike’s.

Before buying a home I would self-clean at a gas station stall but now I alternate between home a self wash.

Something similar. I have two cars, and both of them get washed at least 1x per week, I absolutely hate driving around in a dirty car.

Drives me crazy when you see a new or nice car and it's dirty. Wash your car!!! #petpeeve

The key is not to drive a nice car.

Other than salt eating it I fail to see a practical reason for it.
