Survivor: Island of the Idols

I am a little lost at why Kellie was offended by Jamaal's comment about being worried about the men being outnumbered because there could be an all-women alliance? I was very confused what was a offensive about that when time and time again the women consistently talk about an all women alliance, even in this season.

And yeah, what was Jamaal doing with that idol? Guess he was trying to buy some favor from Noura. I thought for sure he was playing it for himself.

Probably the most uncomfortable I've ever felt watching Survivor. What the heck Missy and Elizabeth?

I think we have the same take on this episode. Missy and Liz were the ones that came out looking bad from this episode right?

For us watching the show, yes on Liz and especially Missy. I now have someone I am rooting against on this season. At least Liz was honest and owned her comments. The crazy thing is Dan gave her a total pass after Janet put her on the spot and Liz admitted she said what Janet told Dan she said. How does that happen?

I feel bad for Janet and think viewers applaud her for all her actions. It is a shame the way it is playing out for those on the show. As I think about it all now, I wish Janet would have stood up at Tribal, called them all out for their actions, said I can't be a part of the group and left the show.

I conclude by the limited responses on this season that not as many are watching or at least not as interested. Personally, I am about to stop watching, as I see enough whiney people in the news who say things that turn out to be lies and/or manipulations of the facts.

I was so angry at Kellie. She was so vocal to others but never said "Stop touching me" to Dan. She even said a woman couldn't speak up. BULLCRAP. That is the problem. Use your voice immediately and loudly. Kellie is Harvard educated outspoken and smart but not courageous. Missey was so cowardly , she allowed all the heat to fall on Janet and never said a word. Janet. the older woman, trying to protect the young was all by herself. So much for womens alliances. They won't stick together and be truthful in something this important. I hope I have taught my granddaughters to be stronger than they demonstrated.. If you are uncomfortable, Say So ! As for Dan. He was touchy. Is he that clueless? I almost think he was. Rant over.

I bet she was pretty darn close. Wait so long to play and want to play so bad, probably tough to walk away. I definitely felt bad for Janet in all of this.

Missy and Elizabeth definitely come off really poorly and I think are going to get crushed on social media and what not.

In all fairness, I do believe that she spoke up about it to Dan earlier in the season, if I remember correctly.

Last night was the first time I ever remember seeing a producer speak on the show and I've watched every episode.
I was according the the article linked below:

It was so bad that, for the first time in show history according to Survivor Reddit, the producers got involved with the cameras rolling.

Yes she did. You are right. She also said in the episode that you can't speak up because it comes back on you and you will not move forward in your career. I'm insinuating this was her thinking in this paraphrase.. I was disappointed she felt this way It is my firm belief that this happens when you don't speak up and the harassment continues and then years later you speak up. Speak up the moment it happens. Call them out.

I wasn't paying close attention but I think I saw a preview this weekend that said two players were going home again this week.

The show is only scheduled for an hour this week, but the episode is titled “Two for the Price of One”.
