I honestly don't know who I think is going to win. I'd like to see Elaine, but I'm not sure there is much of a front runner. I'm just ready for season 40.

I don't love the cast this season, but also because I believe there is something big for Season 40. The 40th season, capping off 20 years of Survivor. I think they are going to do it big. I believe there has been a lot of chatter among previous contestants about who will be invited back. I believe it might be all returners.

I don't know about taking the game back that far haha. I would like to see them dial back the super idols and other advantages. Maybe just leave one hidden immunity idol with each tribe and get back to the basics and what makes Survivor great.

Yeah, the water thing is a bit much. I'd like to see the surviving the elements a bigger part of the game though.

Interesting move by Dean telling Tommy at Tribal that he is being targeted for votes.

 

Bad move by Elaine playing her idol. With all that turmoil at Tribal andhername not being part of the discussion, no way I would have played my idol if I was her. That's why I will be surprised if she wins. She is a fun player but I don't think she is playing very well on the "outwit" part of the game.

 

I am fine with the talk and whispering at Tribal. I like that the jury gets to see all that. It adds another layer of strategic game play, as Dean showed tonight.

Survivor Night! Last episode before the finale next week, I believe.
