If Tommy gets to the final 3, he will be tough to beat. I would love to see Janet win.

I'd like to see Janet win too, but I just don't think it happens. The idol nullifier is fixing to blindside the heck outta her.

I’ve always been curious as to how much control the producers have over the gameplay. I find it hard to believe it’s just coincidence that often, the castaway who needs it most, is the one that happens to find an idol.

 

And I've always been pretty curious about that as well. I think they give hints.

 

Similar to you guys, I've always wondered how much influence producers have on these games. After Big Brother this summer, I'm 100% convinced that CBS production does what they want to influence the game, and it's not really all that subtle.

I am pretty glad Tommy won. I felt like he played a more old school game, which I really appreciate. Great social game, controlling information, and advancing through the game without having to rely on idols and advantages. I love the show of Survivor, but I have felt like they have gotten a little out of control with all the hidden immunity idols, special hidden immunity idols and crazy advantages. So in a season that I didn't care much for, I found it refreshing that Tommy won and did so by dominating the final vote.

I will say though, I felt like Dean did a great job at Final Tribal, trying to plead his case. If you are more of a new school fan, you maybe think he should have won. He at least made it interesting.

I am a little bummed at the Reunion during the Kelly/Dan discussion that Jeff Probst sort of seemed to let Elizabeth and Missy off the hook for their actions in all of that. It least it felt that way to me.

I loved the Sia Awards. I got a little misty eyed when Elaine heard her name called.

As for season 40, if they don't vote Rob and Sandra off immediately, they are all idiots.

I call bull on Tommy noticing a machete on the new buff. Just seemed awfully convenient as a way to get a search for another idol started. I would think he was tipped off...maybe, hopefully I'm wrong.

Listened to Tommy on RHAP between yesterday and this morning. He won't get enough credit for how good of a game he played.
