Is It Just Me...

Again, perspective. Things go deeper than derogatory names in my world.

I understand that.

Maybe Jerry as the most powerful owner could get away with it, but back to my original statement...Raiders GM would and should have been fired if he'd said that to AB.

I don’t think he would have.

I’m in the camp that thinks AB needs to be evaluated for mental

illness. This isn’t funny anymore.

The only mental illness he has is money. He's been this way since he got paid. He's not doing anything different, there are just MANY more people paying attention now.

Which to me is more of a sign about his mental health than anything. He needs some help. His brain clearly isn’t functioning properly.

Saying he has mental health issues is a disservice to people who actually do, IMO. He got paid (deservedly), and immediately thought he could do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. He's learning that's not the case and everyone won't put up with his antics. Narcissism is his only mental health issue.

Ehhhh, this ain’t normal behavior. I’ll never believe his head is where it should be. I’ve seen narcissism and mental health issues up close. This seems like mental health.

This is more of a mental health issue to me than mass shooters.

To completely steal an idea from Jamele Hill, why are we not talking about how Jon Gruden doesn't have control of his team like we did Mike Tomlin?

Just read the Raiders fined him another $250,000 triggering the voiding of his guarantees and now is an employee at will, subject to termination anytime with no financial buyouts or further considerations. AB just took $30million and set it on fire so he could gloriously flame out and call himself a victim. Absolutely, crazy.

Is AB going to appeal that?

And if I am the Raiders that is exactly where I want to be, in a position to fire him no strings (money) attached.

False.

Riley Cooper got an extension after he was filmed saying it.

Kerry Collins called Mushin Muhammad one back in 1997. Played 15 more years.

Bill Romanowski has an entire Sports Illustrated piece dedicated to him.

All that being said AB shouldn’t have said what he said or acted in that manner but we gotta quit acting like there is a double standard in every situation when there truly isn’t. The only double standard is black people can say it for the most part with no issue.

This is the bottom line, there is a double standard.

Now how much of a double standard and when and how it is applied who knows, but there is a double standard.

I’ve heard people hammer Gruden going back to last season because there is no evidence he is a good coach in 2018/2019.

On balance, we are about one month in to Gruden and Brown being together. Tomlin had multiple years of getting a pass before the “lost control” narrative took hold. The final straw was the FB Live video and that offseason Brown getting paid.

Tomlin deserves a ridiculous amount of praise if he dealt with this nonsense for that long.

Can't argue an ounce with this logic.
