Sims being pulled after 4 2/3. Has two on with two out and Yelich coming to the plate. Bell going to go with Garrett here.

Watching the Redlegs in sunny Milwaukee and it brings up a question I have wondered about for a while. I see these big leaguers wearing sunglasses on the front of their cap above the bill, but rarely see these guys put 'em on. Don't understand it.

Garrett walks Yelich, and then Grandal hits one to left to score two. Winker short-arms the throw to second, which gets away and allows Yelich to go to third.

Brewers up 5-4 now, still with two on and two out.

Counsel really wanting the win, brings in Hader for the 7th to face Votto, Winker and Puig. A 1-2-3 inning. Brewers still lead by 1.

Does anybody besides me NOT understand Bell sitting Suarez today, he’s on FIRE the first 2 games with a day off tomorrow!?!? If he wanted to get VanMeter some ABs, fine, sit Winker!!

Peralta in for the Reds in the 7th. Hits a batter, followed by two singles. Bases loaded, no outs.

Heading home now, so someone else can update on the outcome. I imagine it won't be a good one.

Whew, another 1 run loss, we have to have the worst record in baseball in 1 run games, gotta win more of those to put a streak together!

Finale of the series features call-up Lucas Sims taking on Jhoulys Chacin this afternoon. After the miracle on Monday, and last night's beat down, the Reds offense will likely go hide in a hole and offer no support for Sims. I'd say they have about as much of a chance to sweep this thing as LRCW does of becoming president of the Dusty Baker fan club AND me advocating the return of Homer Bailey.

I can only aspire to be half as good as the Master.

It was a good try. I'm sure @LRCW can explain what went wrong. Maybe like MJ said, using the name Homer Bailey in your post took away the magic.

Yes I do. Hard to get a streak going when you sit your stars.

I have much to learn.

I think I heard 14-20...

Just looked it up, 16-21, only team in MLB with 20 or more losses in 1 run games

Tack on another 11 losses by 2 runs...

Well sometimes the truth hurts, but the blame falls on you @Voice of Reason. For the reverse jinx to have it's full power you can't have people bringing attention to the fact that the reverse jinx is being used. It's a very delicate and precise process.
