Can't recall the thread, but I posed a question similar to...."will this years national champion, have 6-8 losses" and several replied, NO....I'm not sure and with approximately 10 games left on most conference schedules, road trips and "balance", combined with upcoming programs, the field of 65 may not be household names/Seeds.

 

UK is like a lot of other programs, can play very well at times....must have consistency, limit TO's and have players step up. I wouldn't want to play them, in the field of 65, if a coach.

I don't think they will be a 13 seed so I will go with the # of losses.

This is just nuts. Once again it looks like UK will not be in the final four and next years prospects for a final four are not great either. Since the 1940's UK has been in the final four at least once in each decade, except for this one. Guess how many times Pitino had double digit losses in a season? Once, 14-14 in his first year. If I am not wrong Tubby has had 4 seasons with double digit losses and this year will make five. I can remember when teams were intimidated coming into Rupp Arena, now we have lost at home the past two years to Vanderbilt, who by the way is now ahead of UK in the conference standings. Tubby is a good man, I have no doubt about that, but he seems too at ease with being a "good" team, and not driven enough to want the team to be great.
