As a UK fan this is embarrassing and ridiculous; obviously Duke is playing better and will be just fine.

Really knowing the game of basketball is about respecting quality teams, players, and coaches.

Might be a point in there somewhere...

We as UK fans should consider it luck if the Cats only lose 12 games this season. With games at Vandy and Florida, then the SEC tourny and hopefully the NCAA tournament it is not a reach that it could be more than 12 losses for this team.

They would have to lose to LSU or Georgia for the possibility of more than 12 losses. At Vandy and At Florida will be losses 9 & 10; They'll lose in the SEC Tournament - that makes 11, and they'll lose in the NCAA Tournament - that makes 12.

That is not too much of a stretch. They have already lost to Georgia and LSU

still has Big Baby, UK could not stop him last year, what makes this year any different? And just because LSU and Georgia are at home does not make a lot of difference, especially during the Tubby era. Vandy and Florida beat the Cats at Rupp already so the sense of intimidation that UK used to have at home is not nearly the factor that it once was. I would love to be wrong and see the Cats get on a roll but I am afraid that I won't be.

Tyrus Thomas.

Tyrus Thomas.

Didn't Tyrus Thomas either miss or played limited during the game last year with a sprained ankle?

Thomas may be gone but it still remains for UK to stop Davis, and odds are they won't. Morris will probably have two fouls by the 14:00 minute mark of the first half and then it will fall on Sheray Thomas and Orzbut to contain Davis, not good match up for UK either way on that one. But back to the thread, whether it is "only" 12 losses or more than that, once again UK fans have to put up with another double figure loss season, becoming more and more the norm instead of the exception at UK.

I bet Davis has 0 points and 0 boards. Write it down.

Write it down.

You guys just can't get enough of my catch phrases...

shhhh!! jump in on the predictions! :D

You are right, since he is not making the trip to Lexington. That is the only way that UK could have shut him down however.

I prefer "write that down" from Van Wilder...but "to each his own"... ...that's my catch phrase.

LOSS-O-METER = 10

They can't get to 13..so I was wrong...though it does certainly look like 12 is a certainty.
