I don't think it's time to give up on them so soon, hopefully they'll start to mesh.

They don't call Tubby "ten loss" for nothing.

Not at all, just reduced expectations...

Do the numbers 94-92 ring a bell?

I dont think we will be a 10 loss team. I look for us to lose only 1 or 2 more non-conference game. Also, I think we will be able to have a 11-5 conference record. Of course we will just have to wait and see.

I was thinking about this while listening to the game at the end. I think UK plays great competition so a high loss number is always likely and possible.

That said, I remember when it seemed a poor year when we lost 6 or 8 games. I'm wondering when that feeling changed?

Nope, sure doesn't.

Does that have to do with my questioning the overreaction to Kentucky losing to two top 15 teams?

Uk will lose to N.Carolina and 1 other nonconference opponent, either Indiana, Charleston or Louisville and will probably lose twice to Florida. Thats 6 losses right there...Alabama and LSU are probable losses and Tennessee is a probable split....Thats 9 and you know they'll have at least 1 or 2 more games they should win but don't...I think it'll be about 10 to 11 losses and then off course you've got the conference tournament and NCAA or NIT tournaments, so, you're looking at 12-13 when alls said and done...

Who is overreacting? Nobody saying UK can't be a good team at tourney time...

It is November, I still think this team will be solid and by the time conference play rolls around, they will be a legit top 15 team. I think there only other non-conference loss will come to UNC, then they will go 12-4 in conference, putting them at 7 losses going into SEC and NCAA tourney play.

They lost to two better teams, not a huge deal...

Exactly, they were better for now. I've never understood, nothing but negative comments, gloom and doom, which some "fans" constantly portray and dwell on.

Its almost if some of you, revel in a UK loss which allows your negative comments, to perpetuate. Constructive criticism, is highly more effective than diatribe of negative, negative, negative.....

This started after one game, one game and already the season is a waste, after loosing 2 games in Maui. Some of "glass is half empty" followers, would make excellent weather forecasters, since they both change from day to day
