What are the dates of the 9th region?

Off topic, but since the Boys State Tourney is first shouldn't the draw be Saturday for Monday first round games? Not a lot of prep time if draw on Sunday, and 4 of the 8 have to play on Monday at BB&T.

Agree to disagree on this. With Hudl I would want as much time to prepare for a team that I could. Decade a go it might not have mattered much since had to see teams live, but now you could get 10+ game tapes for anyone you might draw. One thing to be able to scout a team live, but hudl has opened up scouting a team to another level. After getting tape, need practice time to use it affectively, which is hard to do if only have 24 hours to get it done. I see where the draw is on Saturday, so I guess some coaches might agree with getting it done ASAP.

For example, if you were Tim Sullivan and you draw Covington Catholic first round on Monday. What are you gonna learn from watching hudm tapes that you don’t already know about them?

A multitude of teams put in new things towards the end of the regular season or in the district tournament specifically to contend in the post season and avoid running offenses that have been scouted and prepared for and defenses to shake teams up when they were expecting something different. Basically, if you played somebody in December, it is still extremely valuable to get tape on them from February.

Beechwood vs Highlands would be a VERY interesting first round match-up.

Feels like Cooper vs CivCath in Round Uno. Who woulda thunk that would be a possibility?

Any word on the Sisson Vs. Harding matchup?

Harding did not guard Sisson. Honestly Harding was not a factor until late in game.

 

Sisson was Sisson on both ends of the floor. Kid just needs to get kore touches when game is on the line.

I missed this one but heard it wasn’t much of either. McGuire and Miller were the stories for Newport.
