The Defenders enter 2019 with a new field and a new District. Their 2019 schedule is a lot less... less as they have been playing a State Final preview schedule the last few years. The Douglass transition is behind them looks like the Defenders are trending up. Stay tuned #BigThings

That "logo" is a bit obnoxious.

Check out our show tomorrow as we start our series on recruiting. #BigThings

It is rather large, good looking field and I'm sure the kids are proud of it. They might change the logo when field's replaced in about 10-15 years. Almost looks like it should have been in end zone.

Will make for some great team pictures.

I think it looks sharp. Can't think of a better name than the Defenders for a nickname so why not say it loud and proud across the field? Two thumbs up!

Will make for some great team pictures.

It will also make for some good opponents pictures when someone hangs a 50 burger on them. :lol2:

Very nice.

I really like the large "logo" in the middle.

Only 1 regular season home game between Aug 23 & Oct 4 is a little odd.

I notice Ryle went from scrimmaging Trinity to now scrimmaging Station?

Is there a connection with Ryle and Station? They seem to scrimmage each other quite a bit the last few years?

It will be nice to see how Oldham fares against both teams since there moving to 6a. Both games should be pretty fun.

Nice looking field! Congrats to Station!

I think Ryle's head coach was previously an assistant at Lexington Catholic.
