November 14, 200619 yr Couple of interesting factoids. UK has forced 8 RedZone turnovers this year. I believe they are #4 in the nation in takeaways. Overall, the defense is near the bottom, but the takeaways has been the saving grace.

November 14, 200619 yr Remind anyone of the Bengals last year? That's exactly who it reminds me of. Now if we can just keep Kim Von Olhoffen out of the equation...Seriously, the takeaways are great and I think that shows that Archer has a sound philosophy, he's just playing a bunch of underclassmen. If he survives this year the defense will mature and quit giving up so many yards--they may not be great but they should be able to give the team a chance to win most weeks. Hey at UK that's better than it has been in awhile.
