Rock LOVES the mud. I say this almost literally, Rock doesn't lose if it's a slop game. I'm sure they have, but I honestly can't recall in my years of watching them, them ever losing a game with a muddy field and sloppy conditions.

You should have seen mason Countys feild JC last game of the year the hole entire feild nothing but mud, no lines and the mud was a bout 4 inches deep. It was something to watched and looked very fun. I would have loved to been able to play in it..JC seemed to love the mud to.

Thanks. It also means I get to leave work early. :ylsuper: Rock's last game of the season against Knox Central was much the same way. We had no lines and the announcers on the radio couldn't tell what yard line the ball was on. I didn't feel well, so I stayed in out of the ran and tried to recover. But all of the players were covered from head to toe in mud and you couldn't tell which helmet was which. I think the two teams fumbled on 4 straight plays at one point.

Where does JC go next year as far as their class? Rock goes to 4A.

1998 Boyle County beat Rock on their homefield 24-14 in one of the worst mud fields of all time. Other than that I don't recall one off the top of my head but I do remember that one.

The Mason County-Johnson Central game was awful as far as field conditions are concerned. I hope that isn't the case tonight, I would rather both teams play their perfect game and not be affected by the mud.

I am surprised how big the margin is on the poll.

150 votes is a nice total.

I had hours right on post #260, but for some reason I thought I had messed up and changed it...

I don't remember that game. I don't think I was there. Just curious, what time is the team leaving?

Only 6 more hours.

I think I am going to go get a parking place now.

I'm a little surprised by the poll here. It was neck and neck for awhile, then BOOM Rockcastle took off. I'm shocked the margin is so big. Hopefully that's the way the game will go tonight, close until half and then we explode in the second. :D

So you're what saying is if JC can establish a running game then they have a "chance". In case you forgot JC is favored to win this game. Why do you try to make it sound like if they play great then they have a "chance", as if JC were a 3 touchdown underdog or something. I think JC will win but I also know Rock is a great team, this game will be a knock down, drag out fight.

Wow!!!

Sorry I struck a nerve. I didn't realize my post inferred JC was a 21 point underdog. But this is a prediction thread about this game I thought. And in my humble honest opinion I feel if Rock shuts down JC's running game then I think they will win. I'm sorry if that offends you. I saw Rock play last year and they were a whole lot more physical than Ashland was and that is the reason they won. I believe they return their whole line or most of it, so I expect them to play even more physical this year being a year older and more mature. So I expect that to be more physical than Ashland was the last game of this year.

Good luck to both teams, tonight.

I think it will be a great game. I say JC wins by the same score they had last week.

JC 28

Rock 21

:ylsuper:

I think everybody in Johnson County will be at the game tonight. Maybe somebody around the area or from Rockcastle County will be doing updates.

Johnson Central's radio station is WSIP 98.9
