The field is covered with tarps, should be in pretty good shape if it doesnt rain once we take them off.

 

On a side note, Kickoff has been bumped up to 7 PM!!!

I heard that it had been moved to 7pm. Something about Hazard leaving for a senior trip after the game. On a side note, are they planning on not playing next week so they can get a head start or would they just not practice for the state semi-finals?

WR Hoskins(great kid) he is the only senior skill player. Qb-Olinger, Wr/Tb-Campbell, Wr-Kidd, Wr/Tb-Adams are all sophmores, Fb-Blanton(great hitter) and Te/Wr-Meehan and kicker/punter-Delpont are freshmen.

Blanton loves to hit so does #5 I think is the number.

Hazard is goin on a junior trip which has been planned for a year.....no going back....the trip is over on monday so they will be back and ready for practice if they win

Reckon Coach Cobb got is point across to our administration in today's paper concerning their apathetic attitude towards the field and lights situation in the last few weeks?

A little background first,for the last 2 weeks against Cumberland and Harlan the lights on the visitors side down on end of end zone have not worked. The athletic department and facilities manager (both Slick Perkins and Cloyd Bumgardner) have been pitiful in their responsibilities in caring for the field. For the last 2 years instead of the maintenance department mowingand raking the field one of our parents have had to do it. The parent mostly responsible would not want his name mentioned but has gone through some terribly trying times healthwise. I do not recall the superindentnor Jeff Perkins the principal thanking him. There is no telling how much money he has saved our school system at the expense of his health I believe. This man is as good a human being as has ever walked this earth.

So in today's paper Coach finally spoke his peace that he would have rather had this game on the road as for him and the boosters to spend the week working on the facilities, taking time away from him coaching FOR A REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!! I say THANK YOU COACH COBB!!!
