And you might be right; but, every video I saw was a stationary throw with zero follow through. Maybe I am watching the wrong channel? But, IMO, Saban is putting a lot of credibility on the line if it is not a smokescreen (win at all costs, players are only pawns, end justifies the means, etc.). I think we see at most a token, or last gasp Tua appearance. But, what does a 72 year old, non-medical set of eyes know?

I don’t really know either since I’m not there. Maybe it is a smokescreen I would just be shocked to see Tua not play.

Absolutely shows zero. High ankle sprains are 100% about lateral stability which never was remotely displayed. Having had one (exactly what Tua had, a Grade II), it took me six months to plant and move cautiously laterally. Tightrope surgery is totally new and there is still great questions from orthopedic friends. If he goes, he better not get hit wrong.

I had the same injury in college, there is no way I could have done that ladder drill that soon afterwards. So it appears as if the treatment may have improved since us old timers got hurt back in the day.

Let’s be honest, Oklahoma is basically the perfect spot for any QB to transfer to. Baker wasn’t going to be offered a scholarship at Texas Tech and Kyler Murray was not good under Sumlin at A&M. We obviously know how they turned out.

Alabama is going to score in bunches and stop Oklahoma from scoring many more times than the Tide get stopped from scoring. That equals an easy Alabama win.
