November 19, 20187 yr Will be interesting to see how this goes. Darn near impossible to win in Lawrence.
November 19, 20187 yr Well, it’s been nice for Les in his career. He’s been in the limelight quite a lot. But that’s come to an end with this new job.
November 19, 20187 yr Nobody can win at Kansas. But if Les can get this team to a couple bowl games they may just erect a statue for him. It will be interesting to see how he recruits. KU has 1 recruit in the 2019 class right now.
November 19, 20187 yr Serious question here: could Nick Saban win a national championship at Kansas? No.
November 19, 20187 yr Free money folks. Exactly. Only way you take this is if the dollar figure is right and you were nearing the end anyway.

KU has 1 recruit in the 2019 class right now. Hardly. Mark Mangino took them to 4 bowl games, winning 3 of them, one of them the Orange Bowl. They fired him for being boorish and violent. Justified, but still. I wonder. Given Les's propensity for eating vegetation, when they start doing that wheat wave thing, during a home game, will Les start gnawing on the arm of a fan?

Hell the entire 2007 season was odd. Kansas was one game away from playing for a national championship.
November 19, 20187 yr Les Miles in the Big 12 seems like and odd fit to me He was at Oklahoma State before he went to LSU I believe. So this would be his second go around in the Big 12.
November 19, 20187 yr Here is the thing Kansas football program usually always sucks just like UK's had most of its history. However if a coach like Rich Brooks and now Stoops with no previous Head Coaching experience. Can get UK literally a game away this season from being in the SEC Championship. Then yes I think Miles can turn Kansas around. I'm not saying Kansas will be competing for National Titles. However, I could see a lot of people be shocked with how he turns Kansas around. Shoot even Iowa State has became a decent program now that they have had a decent coach. If Mark Stoops can turn UK around, I think Miles could do the same for KU. Now with that said. I wonder why he would choose Kansas. He would have been able to find a bigger and better job than this.
November 19, 20187 yr I didn’t know that. I just looked it up and you’re right he was at Oklahoma State before LSU. I was 4 years old when he started there haha
