UKMustangFan
#1 overall player in the 2019 class. He'll be heading to play for Penny and the hometown Tigers barring a stunner.

Pop
While I wish it was Kentucky, I have to agree that everything that I have read points to Memphis.
John Anthony
You mean to tell me Cal is gonna miss on another elite, transcendent player for how many years in a row? Come on.
The Professor
I wished it was Kentucky, and it would have been until the hiring of Penny, but he’s Memphis bound.

Memphis fired their head coach in order to keep Wiseman home. Hard to overcome that.

It’s a one year NBA internship anywhere, wasn’t that the pitch at UK? Are we that far removed from the Anthony Davis days now?

All State Baseball
He loved Cal's pitch to him and he loves UK. He made a statement that Cal's pitch was that he could make him the #1 overall draft pick in the NBA draft. I hope it's UK but it's gonna be hard to turn Memphis and Hardaway down. All State Baseball
^ Hometown. Get's to play in front of the family without much travel expenses.
John Anthony
^ Hometown. Get's to play in front of the family without much travel expenses. The current UK players have several family members in attendance every game. Monk left Arkansas, Cal’s recruiting has simply slipped if he whiffs on JW, after whiffing on Barrett, Zion and Reddish. Irish Cat
^ Hometown. Get's to play in front of the family without much travel expenses. I guess. But this is only beginning his second year playing in Memphis. Heck, his Wikipedia page doesn't even list Memphis as his hometown.
Irish Cat
This decision doesn't make a lot of sense. Did World Wide Wes run out of money a couple of years ago? That was why Cal got all those players. Wasn't it?
letabrotherspeak
Unfortunately, Cal is trailing for all of the bigs he has recruited this year. Unless he pulls a late surprise but most Crystal Balls have all the elite bigs leaning elsewhere. Vernon Carey will trim his list to three in the next couple of days and its doubtful UK will be in the final 3. It's kind of odd, because UK will need at least 1 or 2 bigs with the expectation that Washington goes pro and the chances of Montgomery and Richards bolting.
