Does anyone have any information on when other 16th region teams will be scrimmaging?

Do you have that correct? Blanchester will be playing both East and West?I know that Ohio schools are allowed 5 scrimmages. Will this count as one or two for them?

Cats' Pause #4 and #6 Clash Friday in the 12th Region.

 

#4 McCreary Central hosts #6 Boyle County, the defending 12th Region Champion for a scrimmage on Friday, Nov. 17th. Time has yet to be determined.

Clark Co. will be hosting scrimmages this Saturday (the 18th) featuring the following match-ups:

2:00 Central Hardin-Holy Cross

Owsley County hosts a panarama this Saturday, Nov. 11th against Whitley County. It will be the last game. The first game is Frankfort vs. Jackson County.

Whitley County beat Owsley County by 8, and Jackson County defeated Frankfort by around 10 or 12 points.

Actually, it's Monroe that they're playing. I've heard different things from different people and now I'm pretty certain it's Monroe. After the game, I will update the score and the team. :confused:

For some reason, they played five quarters, and McCreary was without #7 player in the region - according to Cats' Pause - Josh Bartley, who is still spending time to recover from knee surgery. But here are the stats.

This gave was very, very physical. McCreary relied too much on the three in the first two quarters, but had enough fall to allow them to have more points than Monroe in the quarters. Monroe was extremely strong in the paint and made nearly all of their points from the paint and the free-throw line. Starting of the third quarter, McCreary's pressure defense forced Monroe into six straight turnovers, some unforced.

 

The game was extremely physical and caused one technical for a thrown punch and a bloody nose, but those were on different occasions. The referees let them play very hard and most of the fouls came at the begining of the game because McCreary had no inside defense and at the end after McCreary had pulled far ahead. A lot of questionable calls on both ends of the floor, but a good warm-up for both teams.
