Alabama 29 LSU 0

So can we just go ahead and give Alabama the title and let everyone else have a 4 team playoff? Who are we kidding? Nobody is beating this team unless they get injuries. Every team in the country is playing for second place including Clemson. I truly can’t believe what we are watching week in and week out with this Bama team.

LSU showed that they can be slowed down. The problem was that Burrows and the offense was no where near up to the task of attacking the defense.

Clemson's defense may not quite be on par with LSU, but it's not far behind. Clemson's offense has been nearly Bama-like since making the QB change. They could pressure the Bama D like no one else has and make it a shootout. Oklahoma, Ohio St., Norte Dame all throw the ball well enough to make plays and score against Alabama, I think all three of them would be a shootout type game. I could see the Bama/Georgia game looking similar to the LSU game last night, unless Fromm is playing lights out.

I'd take Alabama against anyone, but there are some teams that can challenge them.

We will see. Clemson’s defense is as good or better than LSUs. LSUs offense is one dimensional. Clemson’s offense is the best in the land.

We’ll just have to disagree. I’ve seen enough to know that I don’t believe any team in the country has a chance. Hope I’m wrong.

Clemson’s offense is not the best in the country, Bama’s is.

I did a month ago and I was probably late on that.

How do we know that? Based on scoring vs ACC teams?

Alabama is still the clear favorite. If anyone can make things interesting against them, it will be Clemson and I’m not sure of how much of a chance that is.

I really thought this game would be close.

Bama is amazing.

Last night should have eliminated any doubt that anyone has about Alabama’s possibility of being national champions. They went in to the toughest environment of college football against a team that was close to as tough and made both a complete non factor.

I saw this somewhere and it really describes Bama perfectly. They don’t play against teams. Last night they weren’t concerned with LSU. They weren’t concerned about being in Death Valley. Bama is playing against perfection. I was a pretty harsh critic that Bama was overrated for several years now. Basically in the stretch from AJ McCarron to Tua I thought Bama was on the same level as Ohio State, Clemson, and the other top teams in the country. That’s no longer the case and I along with everyone else just needs to accept it as fact. I don’t know when their run ends, hell at this point I’m not sure Bama’s run will ever end. They are just playing a different sport than everyone else right now.

The only take away from this is any time in sports. Where we have a team look as unstoppable and dominant as Bama has. We usually see that team somehow get upset and not win it all.

I think this year is setting up to be one of those years. Where we get a team who shocks the world and wins it all. Now who that team will be I have no idea. But right now I just see that happening.
