November 8, 200619 yr UGA is 6-4 right now, granted that is a terrible season by the Bulldogs tradition but it is still not bad and there a lot of teams that would like to have it. (Kind of like our -UK's b.b. season last year). I will go out on a limb (for me anyway:D ) and pick UK by 6. The 6 wins: Western Kentucky South Carolina UAB Colorado Ole Miss Mississippi State The 4 losses: Florida Tennessee Vandy Kentucky Not terribly impressive. Granted UT and UF are excellent this year (as usual) but losing to both UK and Vandy stings. My real point though, is that UGA is Vandy's ONLY SEC win this year. They lost to Ole Miss (Ole Miss' only SEC win). This SHOULDN'T be a close game. If UK doesn't its job preparing for this game and gets its mind of the UGA win, they should take this without too much trouble.

Like I said earlier somewhere...Vandy is playing well and no one has blown them out like the years past. If the Cats QB plays like he can and they contain the freshmen QB it should be a close win for the Cats. This might be the biggest game for the Cats since the Sugar Bowl back in 1950. Go Big Blue
November 8, 200619 yr Author Kentucky should come out focused and beat a decent Vandy team at home. No excuses not to be ready. If you can get up off the mat from LSU, you can put Georgia behind you and get yourself Bowl eligible.

Clairborne was about to take UK to the first bowl game in years and in the 90's when Mumme was taking UK to his first bowl.

Fran Curci took his 7-4 Cats to Atlanta with something like 40,000 UK fans in Fulton County. They whipped UNC 21-0 and springboarded that to a 10-1 season in '77. Claiborne took UK to Hall of Fame Bowls in '83 and '84. That was a good time to be a Wildcat fan from '76 to '84. We also had wins over UT in '76, '77, '81 and '84. (Well it was as good a time as any to be Wildcat fan. )
