Boone and Ryle both have very good running games. The big difference in this game will be Ryle's defense. I think Ryle has the advantage and will win this game over Campbell. Ryle has the deepest defensive team of the 4 NKY 4A teams. This is what will get them through round 2. Ryle's problem from hear on is to continue working on the passing game. Mix in the pass with Murry, Grey and Smitty and they can make it deep into the state playoffs.

Murrary busted out atleast 800 yards in the regular season on only 120 carries and an average near 8 yards a carry. He had 16 touchdowns during the regular season.

This isn't mentioning his 270 yard game last week against Dixie.

Gray had about 60 more carries and gained the same yardage for around 5.3 yards a carry, and also 16 touchdowns.

That's over 1600 yard rushing and 32 td's by only two of the backs.

Your math is off a bit. So I did a quick glance at some statistics from the newspaper(KY Post, which includes the games from this past weekend)

Ryle - 303/2117 = 6.99

(this stat is missing the carry totals but includes the yards from the first Dixie game for Gray)

Farris 225/1535 = 6.82

I would say that the 2 running games are very comparable and does not warrant a "not even close" statement(which I know YOU did not make).

Ok it was close, but I'll take 2 backs that can perform over one anyday.

Well stated. Kyle Benke will get the job done vs. Campbell.

Go Camels! Keep focused and let the good times roll!

Ryle wins the rematch in a heated battle.

Ryle 24

CC 21

Or Farris, the region's leading rusher

Where is Ryle's leading rusher on this list?

Murray 863

Gray 862

Those were there stats last week before the Dixie game. And murray has 273 last week. if you add them together what do you get?

Ryle will not run all over Campbell. Campbell's defense didnt have the best night, but there alot better than that and will be friday night. Also Boone had a better running game than Ryle.

Murray will run for more then 199 yards himself, which is what boone had.

Scotty Gray will have 100 yards himself, even if he is in the slot 50 % of the time.

Smitty will supprise the Camels with at least 1 TD

Dylan Campbell will be a nickle a good portion of the night and have at least 1 pick. Binke will find Gray, Luster, Murray, and Huth for 200 yards passing and the Raiders will roll up 350 yards rushing.

The D may give up a touchdown or two but the Raiders will score 35.

Ryle 35 - Campbell 14

Ryle continues its march to the Pizza Box.

Ryle 28 - Campbell 14

Ryle by a TD late.

CC will take this one. Ryle is suceptible to the pass and CC is pretty good against the run. I think those are the difference makers. Even so it'll be pretty close right untill the end.

I think CC comes out on top, in a really good game.

Will the winner of this game be on the road next week? Anyone know how the third round works. I know it will be the winner or John Hardin and Meade Co. but don't know if its in northern ky or on the road. GOOOOOOO CAMELS !!!
