Kentucky/Georgia Time Possibilities Announced

Featured Replies

Just thinking out loud, but the CBS slot probably depends on who wins this week in the Florida/Georgia game. If Florida wins, Florida/Missouri probably gets the CBS slot. If Georgia wins, Georgia/Kentucky gets the CBS slot.

Why is this not a night game?

I assume and believe ESPN will have Alabama & LSU at 8:00pm

I know one reason, CBS is not allowed to have a night SEC game while ESPN does. KSR said something about it yesterday. I'd imagine ESPN wouldn't want it on their own SEC Network either. Thus, earlier time.

I didn’t realize that CBS and ABC had that agreement to not have simultaneous night games from the SEC. Either way this sucks.

Go Georgia this weekend! If Georgia wins. UK can wrap up the SEC East title if they beat Georgia that day, assuming and hoping UK beat Missouri this week.

If your like me and want to watch both UK vs. Georgia and Alabama vs. LSU, it doesn't suck. I know DVR's exist and I often have to do that with UK and Notre Dame play at the same time, but both of these games would be hard for me to avoid spoilers if not watched live.

It was more about me wanting to go to the UK/ Georgia game tbh. Night games are always more fun haha

I agree I am disappointed it is not a night game. However I got tickets and plan on getting there plenty early to start all the pre game festivities that day!

I’m so conflicted on what to do as far as tailgating and stuff. Haha The Ohio State and Nebraska game is at noon so as much as I would want to tailgate I wouldn’t enjoy it as much checking my phone the whole time to look at the score. I’m still young enough to have some friends who have houses near campus that may be hosting pre game stuff so I may be able to kill 2 birds with one stone but if it was a night game it would make my game day much easier. Haha
